After the amazing response to the first draft if the iOS Support Matrix we went back and fixed a few bugs. But not before The Loop and 9to5Mac had picked it up.
Firstly, an omission of the retina icon on the iPhone 4 was fixed with in 10 minutes (thanks to Nick Arnott for spotting it so quickly).
Secondly, the iPod debacle. Apple have a habit of releasing different sized iPods Touch of the same generation up to a year later. This caused us to “create” an 8GB 3rd generation iPod that didn’t ever exist. We fixed this and added improved release dates and capacity information.
Today we are releasing v1.2 of the iOS Support Matrix (JPG) (PDF).
Thanks again to Pencil Studio for an awesome job and everyone who emailed, tweeted, and contacted us with suggestions and fixes.
